There are several countries which will form part of the list of countries eligible to the Japan e-visa.
The specification of the evisa to Japan for the French citizens will be like the other 33 eligible countries.
Applicants for an evisa for Japan
Travelers who choose to have their visa on arrival, will have to submit their visa application form at the “Visa on arrival” registration counter, which is found at the entrance of the international airport, borders, and ports.
If the travelers do not bring their application form, they still will be able to get another one from the immigration counter but will have to wait in a long queue.
The visa on arrival have two stamps, one for the arrival date and the second one for the date of departure. Foreigners who would like to stay longer will be able to do so and the number of days will have be extended before the date of departure and an additional cost will have to be paid at immigration services in Japan.
Japan has 7 international airports. The applicants are advised to do their Japan evisa application before their departure by applying online some days before their date of travel.
